A connected digital growth platform for My Salon Suite

Requirements and estimate for the next mysalonsuite.com: a platform that fills suites, connects clients with professionals, and gives corporate and franchisees clear visibility into performance.

Three journeys converging at every location, on one platform.

At a glance

The short version

What we propose

Replace the WordPress site with a modern platform built around suite-leasing lead generation, while preserving and strengthening the Salesforce and Client Connect integrations that run the member directory today.

Three audiences, three journeys

Professionals looking for a suite, consumers looking for a professional, and franchise prospects looking at the business. Each gets a clear, separate path.

Timeline

Development begins in Q4. A conference-ready milestone lands by late January, with full launch in late January or February depending on discovery findings.

What happens next

A discovery working session where we answer the open technical and content questions together and lock the scope for a full priced proposal.

Our understanding

What the website connects

My Salon Suite connects national marketing, hundreds of locations, thousands of independent suite businesses, Salesforce, and Client Connect booking. The website is where all of that meets the public, and its first job is generating qualified suite-leasing leads for individual locations.

The current WordPress site carries critical Salesforce integrations: when a member signs a lease, the franchisee sets them up in Salesforce and they appear on the website automatically. That behavior must be preserved and improved.

375+locations across the US and Canada*
10,000+independent suite businesses
35US states, plus Canada
14service specialties across health, beauty, and wellness

*The current site cites 350, 375, and 400+ in different places. We will confirm the current figure with your team during discovery.

Goals

Measures of success, in priority order

  1. Generate qualified suite-leasing leads for individual locationsThe website's first job. Member leads come before everything else.
  2. Help consumers find the right professional and book a serviceA directory that works the way people search, with booking through Client Connect where available.
  3. Support franchise developmentA defined workstream for franchisee acquisition, coordinated with the franchise development team.
  4. Make marketing performance visibleClear reporting from marketing activity to leads, bookings, and business growth, for corporate and for franchisees.
Audiences

Three coordinated but distinct journeys

The current site separates clients and professionals. Franchise prospects are effectively a third audience, today served from the broader navigation and footer. The first two journeys converge at the location level, but each needs its own experience.

Journey one

Professionals

Beauty, health, and wellness professionals evaluating the suite opportunity.

They need to
Understand the opportunity and find a nearby location.
Conversion
Request suite information or schedule a tour.
Journey two

Consumers

Clients looking for a service provider they will love.

They need to
Find the right provider nearby, by service, name, or specialty.
Conversion
View a professional and book a service.
Journey three

Franchise prospects

Entrepreneurs evaluating the business opportunity.

They need to
Understand the model and see available markets.
Conversion
Submit a franchise inquiry.
The proposed experience

What the new site does

Centerpiece

Member lead generation

Location-aware lead capture, wired into Salesforce with full attribution.

  • Location-aware suite search that routes visitors to the most relevant location immediately
  • Location-specific suite availability and benefits
  • Strong "Request Suite Info" and "Schedule a Tour" paths
  • Lead forms pre-populated with location context
  • Salesforce lead submission with campaign and source attribution
  • Testimonials and proof from existing professionals
  • Mobile-first conversion experience
  • Entry pages that work for both location-specific advertising and organic search

Location finder and location pages

Today, every location result offers the same two choices for every visitor. We will redesign the finder around who is searching and why, and make each location page a localized growth hub.

  • Defaults to the visitor's likely area without requiring location permissions
  • Nearby results first instead of a national map
  • Clear separation of "Find a Suite" and "Find a Professional"
  • List and map views with service-based filtering
  • Fast, indexable state, market, and location pages
  • Handles open, coming-soon, and future locations
  • Location pages with directions, suite leasing content, a searchable professional directory, featured "Salon Spotlight" professionals, services, booking links, galleries, and local testimonials
  • Franchisee-manageable fields controlled through Salesforce
  • Structured data for local search and AI discovery

Professional directory and booking

Built around how consumers search, and kept current by Salesforce lease events.

  • Search by service type, professional name, location or distance, and specialty
  • Booking availability through Client Connect, powered by Maya, where members have enrolled
  • Professionals publish and unpublish automatically from Salesforce lease events
  • Complete, inviting profiles for members who have not yet enrolled in Client Connect
  • Featured professionals at brand and location level

Franchise development

A defined workstream within the project, coordinated with your franchise development team.

  • Stakeholder discovery with the franchise development team
  • Review of current franchise content and lead flow
  • Available-market presentation
  • Franchise inquiry conversion with Salesforce lead routing and attribution
  • Clear separation between prospective franchisees and existing franchisee resources
  • Brand coordination that keeps journey three from crowding member recruitment
Integrations

Salesforce and Client Connect

Discovery will document how the current WordPress and Salesforce integration works (APIs, webhooks, or middleware), the field map, and how leads are routed today, before we finalize this design.

Technology

CMS and technical architecture

We recommend a headless architecture built around Sanity as the content platform.

The stack

  • Next.js frontend hosted on Vercel
  • Sanity for marketing content and page structure
  • An integration layer for Salesforce and Client Connect
  • GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio for measurement

Why Sanity

  • Flexible relationships among locations, professionals, services, and markets
  • Structured content that pairs cleanly with Salesforce-driven data
  • Editorial workflows that scale to more editors and approval levels
  • Locally managed content variation within one design system
Measurement

Analytics that answer business questions

Google Analytics is underutilized today, with no dedicated resource managing GA4 events or dashboards. We propose a complete measurement plan, built in from the first sprint. Every conversion moment on the site gets tracked:

Suite information requests Tour requests Form starts and completions Location searches Location result clicks Professional searches Profile views Booking clicks Calls and direction requests Franchise inquiries Member and franchisee login clicks

All of it reportable by location, market, campaign, device, and traffic source. The dashboards answer your team's questions:

  • Which locations generate the most suite leads?
  • Which locations have high traffic but weak conversion?
  • Which marketing sources produce qualified member leads?
  • What services and professionals are consumers searching for?
  • How often do directory visits produce booking activity?
  • Where are visitors abandoning the journey?
Standards

SEO, accessibility, and performance

SEO and local discovery

Fast, indexable pages for every state, market, location, and professional, with structured data so both search engines and AI assistants can find and recommend your locations.

Accessibility

We build and test against WCAG 2.2 AA. Once the site meets the standard, we evaluate whether the current accessibility overlay widget is still needed.

Performance, privacy, security

Modern hosting with global delivery, privacy-conscious consent handling for your SMS and marketing opt-ins, and a security posture appropriate for lead data flowing into Salesforce.

Chatbot

A chatbot could help professionals evaluate leasing and help clients find services. We recommend a separate workstream with defined goals and ownership.

Process

How the project runs

1

Discovery

Document the Salesforce and Client Connect integrations, audit analytics, interview stakeholders including franchise development.

2

Strategy and IA

Journey mapping, information architecture, CMS selection, measurement plan.

3

Design

Visual system, location page and finder design, prototype for conference demonstration.

4

Build and integrate

Frontend, CMS, integration layer, Salesforce and Client Connect connectivity, analytics implementation.

5

Launch and measure

Content migration, QA, WCAG testing, launch, dashboards, and iteration.

Schedule

Schedule and the January conference

If development begins in early October, the project has roughly 16 weeks before late January, including Thanksgiving and the year-end holidays. A complete January launch is possible but tight, so we plan around two commitments:

Committed · Late January

Conference-ready milestone

An approved visual system, an interactive prototype, the technical architecture, and a polished product demonstration your team can present at the franchisee conference.

Target · Late January or February

Full launch

Dependent on Salesforce access, integration documentation, content readiness, and stakeholder approvals. A January launch becomes realistic if discovery starts before Q4 and decisions move quickly.

Investment

Priced after discovery

To be defined after the discovery session

Scope and pricing depend on answers we do not have yet: how the current Salesforce integration is built, what Client Connect exposes, who edits what content, and what the franchise development team needs. The full proposal will include a complete, itemized investment once discovery answers these questions.

Relevant experience

Multi-location franchise platforms

Bonfire builds websites, appointment systems, and growth platforms for multi-site, multi-service companies.

Case study

Liberty Tax

A national multi-location franchisor with the same platform model.

  • One primary brand website serving hundreds of locations
  • Standardized location pages fed by structured local data
  • Centralized corporate control with location-level flexibility
  • External systems supplying location-specific information to the site
  • A consistent brand experience across every market

A detailed case study package accompanies the full proposal.

Scope

Assumptions and exclusions

We assume

  • Access to Salesforce technical resources and integration documentation during discovery
  • Access to GA4, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
  • Client Connect integration details available from Maya or the integration owner
  • Timely content and approval decisions against the January milestone

Excluded from this project

  • The member login platform (members.mysalonsuite.com), a separate project
  • The franchisee operations hub, a separate project
  • Mobile app redesign, a separate conversation
  • Chatbot build, unless scoped as its own workstream
  • Existing-member support tooling
The next step

Schedule the discovery session

Before we finalize scope and pricing, five areas need answers: how the Salesforce integration is built, what Client Connect exposes, who governs content, what franchise development needs, and what data access looks like. One working session with the right people in the room covers all of it.

Schedule the discovery session

This document is a working draft for discussion. Findings, recommendations, and timelines are provisional until discovery is complete.
